Hey guys, in this video I’m going to show you eight different non-phone remote jobs with no experience required, paying as much as forty dollars an hour in some cases.
One of them is at studypool.com. This is a place where you can get a job as a tutor. So, if you’re someone who knows a lot about an academic subject, you can get paid up to 7,500 monthly by tutoring people and answering homework questions. They are now accepting tutors all over the world and this is a place that lets you work whenever you want. You have students ask specific questions, tutors answer via text, providing full explanations and answers. Students and tutors communicate over a chat messenger and tutoring sessions are one-time question based. You are not having to get on some sort of like live video chat or Zoom call or anything like that. All you’re doing is answering individual chat questions or homework questions for people. And you see some on here that they show you some of the latest questions. Some of them pay as much as forty dollars or it’s you know it’s just going to depend on the type of question and the subject. Some highest earners has may have made as much as ninety thousand or so in a year and it’s a place where it depends on how much you work, it depends on the subject, but it has a lot of high income potential. And if you were to make 7,500 a month and you were to work 40 hours a week, you would be making around 40 to 45 dollars per hour. Study pool has 350 reviews and a 4.2 out of 5 star rating. 88 percent of people would recommend working here to a friend.
Another thing you can do is transcription and one of the best places to look for transcription jobs is transcribe me.com. They’ve been around a long time and they give you lots of schedule flexibility. You can also do this with no experience. You go to transcribe me.com and you can earn up to 22 dollars per audio hour and some people can earn up to 60 to 70 dollars per audio hour. So, it just depends on your skill level and the type of transcription you’re good at. In some cases, things like legal and medical transcription can pay more, so if you can, you might specialize in those. But you can also get paid via PayPal and it’s just a very easy thing to do. All you do is you listen to audio files and you type what’s being spoken into text form. So, you have everything you need right here. You have the freelancer FAQs, everything you need to know, but you get paid via PayPal and it’s just a job where basically you’re typing what is being spoken in a video or audio file. 3.5 out of 5 Stars. 68 recommend working here to a friend.
Another place to check is at rev. You can do captioning and subtitle work here if you want to get paid pretty well on the side to do something as kind of a side hustle or a part-time job. You can do these and have a flexible work schedule, choose your own jobs that you want to take and get paid weekly via Paypal. You can get paid to do transcription, which we’ve already been over, 30 cents to a dollar ten per audio or video minute. Listen to audio and video, type what’s being said by the speakers. But you also have other options here. Many transcription sites only have basic transcription, they have captioning and subtitling as well. And if you do say subtitling, it pays you as much as three dollars per audio or video minute.
So, you’re basically going to do captions as well. Watch video, accurately type what’s being said, creatively convey sounds, sync typed audio with the video. 54 cents to a dollar 10 for audio or video a minute. Subtitling is pretty much the same thing, except you also translate with rev.com. You have an overall rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars and 72 percent recommend working here to a friend.
Another thing you can do is be a voice writer. Three play media is one of the only places I’ve seen offer this as a job and a voice writer is very similar to a transcriptionist or someone who does captions and subtitles but there is a slight difference. So, when you go here and you go to jobs and you go to freelance transcriptionist jobs you can see to the or the uh voice I voice writer position there and the voice writer you just listen to someone who is talking on some sort of live stream and you respeak what’s being spoken. In other words, you are basically just listening to someone talking live and you are saying exactly what that person is saying and it is being spoken into a software that will automatically create subtitles for the screen so people can actually get subtitles on Live Events instead of having to wait for something to be pre-recorded like they usually have to do. So, this kind of makes it more accessible for people who maybe are hearing impaired or for whatever reason can’t listen to it with audio and have to read along at certain points.
So, you can become an English voice writer. You don’t need much really to apply to do this but all you really need is access to a headset, computer and strong internet connection, excellent verbal communication, listening skills and a good speaking voice. You need to be able to do this for 90 minutes at a time in some cases. Multitasking which of course involves listening, speaking and typing, managing projects, working independently and closely following instructions and completing a background check. And this is at a company at three point media that you have a 4.3 out of 5 star rating. Ninety percent of people recommend working here to a friend. They don’t tell you how much it pays on the page there so if you look at their salaries you want to look for usually something like freelancer along those lines. I don’t know that they’ll have the exact voice Rider position on here yet because it’s kind of a new position. You see transcriptionists can make fifty to sixty thousand if they were to work full-time hours if you divide that by 2080 you’ll get the hourly rate of probably between 25 and 30 dollars an hour for many of these so maybe somewhere in that ballpark.
As far as another one to check out, you can do customer support without being on the phone and without experience. One of the main places that’s always hiring for these types of customer support jobs is inksub.com. Ink sub.com is a place where basically they do hosting and services for WordPress and other basically WordPress websites. So, they have tens of millions of websites and products and services for those. Most positions are fully remote.
They offer competitive rates, 28 to 35 days paid time off a year, and other benefits as well. What you’ll want to look for is a WordPress support specialist, campus press support specialist. Sometimes they’ll have I’ve seen some of the past called uh support superhero, but if you go to one of these that’s some sort of support specialist. You see these are 40 hours a week and for these, you will support their members and customers. Hang out in WordPress.org forums, being massively helpful, assisting with and solving all questions with style, coordinating with developers over bugs, features, and cool new stuff, being an active part of the ink sub team, and more. So, you’ll notice that you’re doing support via forums.
And another way that you can do this, if you go to the support Enthusiast, you can see you’ll be doing basically email support with this one. You’ll see email for edublogs and campus press customers. So, they have email and Forum based support jobs available right now here at ink sub and if you go to their website you have 16 reviews and a 3.8 out of 5 star rating. 65 percent recommend working here to a friend. They don’t really have enough information on customer support here to give you an estimate of your pay, but typically a custom customer support rep would make somewhere around you know forty to fifty thousand a year.
Next, you have a telescribe position. So, a telescribe also known as a medical scribe is someone who basically does data entry work for doctors. Now, if you do this you can find these jobs available at scribe America usually at scribeamerica.com. You can see right here what this looks like remote. Make sure it says remote and make sure it says telescribe and not MediCal scribe. Typically, a medical scribe will be in person a telescribe will be remote. You get to work part-time, you don’t have to have a medical background to do this. If you have an interest in the medical field that could be helpful. What you will do is work from home, you have a variety of shifts, flexible scheduling.
You’ll work one-on-one with a clinician, learn about medicine, gain first-hand experience in health care, great for your resume, build lasting relationships, things like that. Requirements availability to work a minimum of two full shifts per week, eight to twelve hours each. Preferred candidates who can commit one to two years of working. The minimum availability required for this is two shifts per week. You need to be able to type 50 words per minute, that’s preferred not necessarily required. A high school diploma is also something they’re looking for as well. So, you’re going to lessen the clinician’s burden of documentation and organizational responsibility, allowing them to focus on caring for the patient.
So, you’re basically going to take what happens in like a clinician visit and type in the database what happens and updates to the patients information and things like that. 3.1 out of 5 Stars 50, 50 percent of people recommend working here to a friend. A medical scribe is not usually going to make a ton of money. It’s going to probably be between 10 to 20 dollars per hour in many cases. If you were to look for how much a medical scribe would get paid you see like 38 to 40 000 a year but obviously you’ll divide that by 2080 to get an hourly rate.
Another company to check out or a type of job to check out is an online evaluator. There are a lot of different versions of this job where basically, you are helping make sure that the internet is working properly or you are improving the way the internet works in other ways. So, you can use this for social media for ads, online ads specifically, you can do a search engine evaluator, map quality analyst where you’re focusing on something like Google Maps. You have a lot of different versions of these jobs and weloocalize.com is usually I believe the go-to place to check for these. You can also check lionbridge.com as well just as another example. You’ll see something like a scout search quality Raider as an example here and usually or you’re going to do, all you’re going to do is use a tool. You have an online tool that helps you evaluate the search engine experience and you will gather information to develop an augment AI data. So you are also helping AI develop to help improve search engines as well. You’ll use your unique Gifts of understanding people’s intentions to improve the online search engine experience. So for this, you can work 10 to 25 hours a week, set your own schedule, start as a ASAP and they are going to hire you as a W-2 part-time employee and get paid every two weeks. You usually do this for contract of 12 months or more.
And requirements are fluency in English or other language you may be applying in, you have to understand the popular culture of the country you’re applying in. They have these for all over the world, I’m just using the U.S English version as an example. Let’s be dedicated to only one of these, you’ve never done this before and you’re the only one in your household to do anything like this, web Savvy and able to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent online research skills, reliable computer system and internet, antivirus software, ability to follow instructions in the language that you’re signing up in and must sign a non-disclosure agreement to protect client confidentiality in past warning modules, any required quality test designed by the client before starting work. Also, salary wise, you can get some estimates here, so like for instance, if you did more like ad review it’d be around forty-seven thousand a year. If you divide that by 2080, you’re probably looking at 20 to 25 an hour. If you scroll down a little bit, you can look more for like a search quality Raider which seems to pay a little bit more according to four people, it pays on average around 73,000 a year if you were to work full time that’s probably about thirty-five dollars or so per hour. 788 reviews, 3.6 out of 5 Stars, 71 percent of people recommend working here to a friend.
Last but not least, the type of job you can also check out if you want to do this with no phone calls and no experience is a micro Tasker. A micro Tasker is someone who basically does work on the side for all sorts of different purposes, you contribute to all sorts of different projects by doing small jobs at a time. So, we call it micro tasking because you’re just doing these small micro size tasks that maybe add up to some other bigger Project. M Turk is a great place to check for this, it’s at Amazon Mechanical Turk obviously owned by Amazon, the Amazon you know, and it’s at mturk.com. You can just go to the top right and it’ll have a worker section, it’ll be right up here and you can click learn more. And you can make money doing image and and video processing, data verification, and cleanup jobs, information gathering jobs, data processing jobs and things like that. So, lots of different types of jobs that you can do usually with no experience required and you can usually average around forty-four thousand a year for you to work if you were to work full-time hours. So again 20 to 25 an hour or something like that. Maybe if you work hard and you get the right types of jobs. They don’t really have a separate page for Amazon Mechanical Turk for reviews, so you can just kind of look at Amazon and see that they have a 3.8 at five star rating, 74 percent of people recommend working here to a friend.
