Hey guys – In this video, we have a really high paying work from home job at a great company that doesn’t require much to apply. It’s at hubspot.com and it is the channel account executive software as a service sales position.
This is a company that specializes in Marketing, sales, customer service, and CRM software at HubSpot. They’re also known for being a really good company in terms of a place to work, but we’ll get to that more in a minute.
First of all, this is a remote job in the United States. They are a company that hires worldwide as well. They’ll have all sorts of jobs in all sorts of countries and you might want to look for other jobs in other countries as well. I’ll show you how to find these in a minute, but this particular job, what you will do is be responsible for building a long-term successful strategy for HubSpot Channel Partners.
You’ll be using your consultative skills. You will work with Partners to dissect their business goals and develop a better plan for achieving them. So, you’re going to be dealing with small business owners and all sorts of different business owners and basically helping them achieve their business goals by using the HubSpot software and services.
You will manage 20 to 50 partner relationships and build a sales pipeline by working with your partners to exceed sales goals. You’ll develop a long-term successful strategy for with your partners and your book of business and you will develop the ability to dissect a partner’s business goals and help them achieve them. You will become an expert at presenting how the inbound methodology and HubSpot software can help a partner improve the fundamentals of their business and you will close new business at or above quota level.
You will also work with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as the firm introduces enhancements to existing Solutions and or releases and new products and bring your thinking strategies and ideas to advance the company.
In terms of values, culture and the vision for the future, they’re looking for people who have the desire and commitment to do what it takes to be successful in sales. They want you to have a positive outlook and a strong ability to take responsibility for their successes and failures and have exceptional consultative selling skills and closing skills. They want you to be a top producer in your current role and have a sharp focus on goals and a belief that daily, weekly and monthly activities will help achieve them. So, they want you to be goal oriented. Obviously, it helps to be more of an extroverted person and have that kind of maybe you have some experience in selling of some sort.
They don’t say that it has to be like software as a service experience or anything necessarily related to the same industry, but if you have experience say selling cars, selling Insurance, selling just about anything, and you’ve been able to be a top producer in the past, that’s pretty much what they’re looking for. They don’t mention a degree. They don’t mention that you have to have a certain amount of years of experience. They don’t mention that you have to have worked with marketing software before. So, as long as you’ve sold something and you’ve done well at it, that’s pretty much what they’re looking for.
A lot of times it comes down to like your personality. A lot of that has to do with you know being someone who can close a deal but also you know friendly enough and outgoing enough to make the customer feel comfortable. Also, they tell you exactly how much you can make here $130,000 to $205,000 USD annually is the compensation range that is a very high paying job for something that doesn’t require you know what a lot of companies would require which would probably be five to ten years experience or a college degree for something like that.
Now, if you want to find more jobs like this what you can do is go to hubspot.com. Scroll down to the bottom, go to careers under company. You can go to you can either go see all positions or go ahead and just narrow things down. But if you go to see all positions then you can kind of do it a little bit easier. So they have a lot of different jobs they have 225 available right now. So what you want to do is go to location, scroll down to remote, and then you want to go to say Department, go down to sales.
Once you go to that then you can see a bunch of different jobs here. You can’t even go to say entry level if you want to do that. If you did entry level you might see some where it’s like okay well this is something that you’ve never done anything like this before you can start here. But otherwise you can just do remote sales and a lot of these don’t require that much experience like the one I just showed you. You have account Executives sometimes they’ll say sales development rep, sometimes they’ll be a business development rep. You see Canada, Germany, U.S, France, Ireland all sorts of different countries they’re upon their uh hiring in.
Benefit wise, they’re known for having really good benefits here. I like to recommend HubSpot to people if they want to work from home because they’re they have some of the best benefits that I’ve seen out of the you know thousand plus companies that I’ve covered. Unlimited vacation, a global week of rest, you have a remote work of course, a five-year sabbatical or five-year after you’ve been with the company for five years they give you a four week sabbatical. You don’t get a five-year sabbatical that would be in nuts but Health Care, parental benefits, you have leadership development healthy at HubSpot.
They offer Fitness reimbursements, nutrition consultations and all sorts of stuff. Stress Management for your well-being, even if you don’t work at the office. Financial well-being, they have lots of things for that. You can even buy HubSpot stock at a 15% discount which is nice. Tuition reimbursement if you want to continue education, you have ongoing learning as well. You have employee resource groups and volunteering perks, they have a lot of really nice perks here as far as what’s like to work here.
So you know a lot of companies will promise you a lot but maybe not deliver. This company seems to deliver according to their employees. They have a 4.5 out of 5 star rating, 90% of people recommend working here to a friend. 95% percent of proof of the CEO, obviously Great Signs benefit wise. Let’s see how they’re doing here, 4.6 out of 5 Stars, 250 ratings. They also mention their benefits and list them here, and then you also have employer verified each individual benefit and you can see star ratings for each individual thing.
So let’s say insurance is more important to you than financial or 401k plans, so if insurance is more important to you in terms of benefits, you can go look at each individual thing and see how their employees rate their insurance, how do their employees rate their 401k plan, 3.6 out of 5 Stars, you know you can go through each individual thing instead of just the overall, but all of which are very highly rated.
Interview wise they have a 3.2 out of 5 star rating. So you can see their interview rating right here. It for whatever reason the page doesn’t seem to work very well, oh now it’s working, 3.2 out of 5 Stars. You see that their difficulty rating for interviewing here is about average, maybe slightly above average in terms of difficulty, 58% positive, 26% negative, 16% neutral in terms of what it was like to interview here and people’s experiences.
I also gathered a few interview questions you can expect from them, just kind of in general, not necessarily specific to this job but they asked some people:
- Tell me about a time you had trouble with a manager or Superior and how did you handle it?
- What’s your favorite book?
- Why are you looking for a new role?
- What is important to you in a company culture?
- Describe a time when you had a conflict with your teammates.
And other behavioral questions like this.
So those are some things that people literally were asked in their interviews at HubSpot. They disclosed them and I just kind of gathered a few that seem more General that you might get asked for any position here. So hopefully this was helpful.
